The Aquator Compact Duplex Mineral water filter is designed for filtering water from the public distribution network. The filter cartridge is located inside the filter. This filter is compatible with the Aquator Compact Water Filter Cartridge - 50 mm, 4000 L, the 1 Micron Ceramic Cartridge, and the Stainless Steel Alkalizing Cartridge.

Installation Instructions:

The Compact Duplex Mineral filter is placed on the countertop. Installation is straightforward:
✅ Screw the filter faucet into the tip of your tap, replacing the aerator.
✅ The faucet allows you to direct water through the filter or let it flow unfiltered through your tap.

To reduce the load on the porous block filter cartridge, the Aquator Compact Duplex Mineral filter includes a 1-micron ceramic cartridge for pre-filtration before reaching the carbon block cartridge.

Filtration Process:

✔ Activated Carbon and Silver Block Cartridge:

• Retains mechanical suspensions (sand, rust, dust, and other impurities larger than 0.5 microns)
• Reduces chlorine, iron, heavy metals, and phenolic compounds
• Eliminates microorganisms
• Improves taste and removes unpleasant odors while preserving oxygen and minerals

✔ Stainless Steel Cartridge with Tourmaline Spheres:

• Mineralizes and alkalizes the water after passing through the porous block cartridge

Cartridge Replacement:

• Carbon and silver cartridge: Replace every 6 months
• Ceramic cartridge: Wash as needed and replace when signs of wear or aging appear
• Mineralizing and alkalizing cartridge: Replace when the tourmaline inside dissolves completely. To check, shake the filter housing—if there’s no sound, the cartridge needs replacing
