This cartridge is capable of retaining mechanical suspensions (sand, rust, dust, and other impurities larger than 0.5 microns), reducing chlorine concentration, iron, heavy metals, and phenolic compounds. Additionally, it retains and destroys microorganisms in the water.

It improves taste and eliminates unpleasant odors while preserving the natural components of water, such as oxygen and mineral salts.
